The children return from school, looking for food...
Vegetable patches at our home. They’re all cultivated by us women to feed everyone at the shelter and we work hard at it
My reflection in a bucket of water when I was working in the vegetable garden
My daughter and her friend playing games in their school holidays
Visiting one of the Women’s Foundation district offices. These are some of the women there, with Women's Foundation President Renu Sharma and Australian volunteer, Ruth
My friend wearing her Nepali sari. I think she looks beautiful. I like how she is natural and not posing for the camera
This is a photo of the worshipping place in my friend’s house. We Nepali Hindu’s usually put pictures of our gods and goddesses in a separate room or area and worship them in the morning and evening.
My daughter ready to go to school. She is a very talented girl and I love her very much
My friend’s daughter in the kitchen at the WFN shelter
Here the women are working to create a new mushroom farm at the shelter. When the mushrooms are harvested, they will be sold at local markets to generate an income for the shelter, as well as being eaten by the women and children
